Problem

Boat propellers are a constant danger and worry when out of the water. They are extremely dangerous and have no safety measures in place to protect injuries.

Research

In 2020, USCG BARD reported 247 propeller accidents, 241 injuries, and 39 deaths, which could all have been avoided with the simple use of this device. This device gives parents, families, and everyone else out on the water one less thing to worry about.

Function

Stop Prop is a (personalized propeller fob) or PPF that reduces the risk to merely zero. The PPF works with a proximity sensor connected to the engine, which directly communicates signals to the boat's motor controller. The engine immediately shuts off as soon as it comes within range, preventing the accident from occurring. On the side of the device, there is also a button for immediate engine shut-off access. Its durable build and ability to float allows users to go about without worry.  Being a versatile wearable, it can be worn and used in every way imaginable. It keeps people safe in and out of the water in any boating situation.
